Rotor Clamp produces a line of self-compensating hose clamps for low-pressure applications in single wire, double wire and constant tension band (CTB) configurations, including light band and narrow band clamps. These clamps expand and contract with the hose in response to temperature changes in the application. They cannot be over or under tightened, and are installed and removed easily using either manual or pneumatic tools. Single Wire Clamps (HC)
Single wire clamps have the most effective holding force and clamping strength. The single wire concentrates the clamping force in one specific area around the hose. Single wire clamps can be used on such applications as household appliances (laundry machines, dishwashers, etc.), heating and air conditioning systems, automotive and truck industry, off-road vehicles, utility vehicles (lawn tractors, golf carts, etc.), snowmobiles, boats and personal watercrafts.

Single Wire Slim (HW)
A slimmer version of the HC hose clamp. The single wire concentrates the clamping force in one specific area around the hose. Single wire clamps can be used on such applications as household appliances (laundry machines, dishwashers, etc.), heating and air conditioning systems, automotive and truck industry, off-road vehicles, utility vehicles (lawn tractors, golf carts, etc.), snowmobiles, boats and personal watercrafts.

Double Wire Clamps (DW)
Double wire clamps are used where a lower clamping force than offered by single wire clamps is sufficient and aesthetics are important. The double wound wire spreads out the clamping force around the hose, and are more cost effective than single wire clamps. Applications include spa fixtures, appliances, heating and air conditioning, some automotive and truck systems, and utility vehicles.

Constant Tension Band Clamps (CTB)
CTBs are used in applications where a lower clamping force than offered by single wire clamps is sufficient, but a higher clamping force than produced by double wire clamps is needed. CTBs are found in spa applications, as well as in the automotive and truck industry.

Constant Tension Band Light Clamps (CTL)
CTLs are cost effective alternatives to other types of band clamps, but do not compromise quality or reliability. CTLs are used on such applications as small engines, agricultural and utility vehicles, automotive systems and appliances.

Pre-Opened, Pre-Positioned Clamps (CTO)
This unique, patented version of a pre-opened clamp is held in the open position by compressing the tangs and allowing the stop to hook on to a complementary notch on the side of one of the tangs. The hook catches this .dimple. when the clamp is opened for a more secure hold. The clamp can then be glued in position on a hose. The mechanism to hold the clamp open is accomplished with only minor changes to the design of the clamp. The CTO cannot be pre-opened any further than the stop, ensuring the clamp will not be over-expanded. The CTO is only intended for rubber hose manufacturers who pre-glue clamps to hoses before supplying to the automotive industry. Contact Rotor Clamp for more specifications.
